Health and Well-being Specialist – Hong Kong

Location: Hong Kong
Manager: Managing Director
Hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

Role Purpose
To deliver talks and conduct training sessions/ programmes for employees of our corporate clients so as to promote their health and well-being

Key Responsibilities
Capable of analyzing our expatriate client needs and providing comprehensive and tailor-made financial solutions to meet their requirements

Physical Education

  • Provide participants with a platform from which they can build physical competences, improve aspects of fitness and develop personal and interpersonal skills and attributes
  • Enable participants to develop the concepts and skills necessary for participation in a wide range of physical activity, sport, dance and outdoor learning and enhance their physical well-being in preparation for leading a fulfilling, active and healthy lifestyle
  • Design and conduct a variety of practical learning experiences including working on their own, with a partner and in small and large groups, and using small and large equipment and apparatus, both outdoors and indoors
  • Make professional advice to participants by participating on a regular basis in a wide range of purposeful, challenging, progressive and enjoyable physical activities with choice built for all participants and leading to establish a pattern of daily physical activity

Food and Health

  • Develop an understanding of a healthy diet which is composed of a variety and balance of foods and drinks among participants
  • Deliver knowledge and skills to make healthy food choices and assist to establish lifelong healthy eating habits
  • Develop an appreciation that eating can be an enjoyable activity and understand the role of food within social and cultural contexts among learners
  • Explore how dietary needs of individuals and groups very through life stages

 

Skills, experience and characteristics needed

  • Professional qualifications in any sports, health management/ nutrition or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English;
  • Solid experience in teaching any sports activity/ making presentations with demonstrations;
  • Good knowledge in health and well-being targeted for expatriate community is preferred;
  • Genuine love for meeting and communicating with people from all walks of life;
  • Open-minded, creative, energetic and committed team player;
  • Must be a qualified First Aider.
