Job Title:   Business Development Specialist (Expat Service)

Location:    Hong Kong

Role Purpose

To execute marketing and business development plans and programs for expatriate clients

Key Responsibilities

  • Take part in marketing of various products tailor-made for expatriates in Hong Kong and actively participate in business strategy
  • Engage in the development of business partnership and implementation of new business production and strategy to offer insurance benefits and wealth management to expatriate clients
  • Achieve in-depth insights into client strategy and financial condition utilizing all publicly and other available data (e.g. financial statements, research projects, etc)
  • Build financial models of individual clients, as needed, projecting income statements and balance sheets, as well as to understand how different solutions may affect a client in terms of accounting, rating agency and equity valuation projects
  • Coordinate or facilitate, with internal resources to build client solutions as well as help implement/ execute these solutions in project work
  • Produce high quality, replicable analytics and client handouts including, but not limited to, visually attractive and compelling pitchbooks
  • Provide assistance with coverage questions and program adjustments, solves problems regarding client account issues

Skills, experience and characteristics needed

  • Degree holder with a science major or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, also of complex solutions;
  • Solid experience in serving expatriate clients;
  • Good knowledge in insurance/ wealth management products targeted for expatriate community is preferred;
  • A proven track record in social media management/ copywriting;
  • Ability to sustain high level of work output and to meet very tight deadlines; and
  • Open-minded, creative, energetic and committed team player.
